This policy explains how FixMitra (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your information when you use fixmitra.in, visit our store, or sell, buy or repair a device with us.

Information we collect

• Contact details — name, mobile number, email, and pickup or delivery address.
• Device details — brand, model, condition answers, IMEI or serial number, and photos of the device.
• Seller verification — when you sell a device to us, a photo of a government ID (as required to buy second-hand devices), and the bill if available.
• Payment details — UPI ID or transaction reference used to pay you. We do not store card or bank passwords.
• Login details — if you sign in with your mobile number or Google account, we receive your verified number or email from our login provider (Google Firebase).
• Usage data — basic analytics and cookies needed for the website to work.

How we use it

• To give you a price, schedule pickups, repairs and deliveries, and contact you about your booking (call, SMS or WhatsApp).
• To verify device ownership and check that devices are not reported lost or stolen.
• To keep records required by law, issue invoices, and handle warranty claims.
• To improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run the business (hosting, login, messaging, delivery partners) and with government or law-enforcement authorities when legally required.

Your device data

Please back up and erase your data, and remove iCloud / Google / Samsung accounts before handing over a device. Every device we buy is fully reset before resale. We are not responsible for data left on a device after handover.

Retention and your rights

We keep booking and seller verification records for as long as needed for legal and accounting purposes. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, subject to legal record-keeping requirements, by contacting us.
